Nawabganj ( Beng. নবাবগঞ্জ , Eng. Nawabganj ) - a city in the north of Bangladesh , the administrative center of the eponymous sub-district . The area of the city is 3.48 km². According to the 2001 census, 4,196 people lived in the city, of which 54.96% were men, 45.04% respectively women. The population density was 1206 people. on 1 km². The literacy rate was 45.4% (compared to Bangladeshan average of 43.1%).
