Barbara Brandenburg ( German: Barbara von Brandenburg ; May 30, 1464 , Ansbach - September 4, 1515 , Ansbach ) - Queen of the Czech Republic and Hungary.

Barbara was the daughter of the Brandenburg Elector Albrecht III from her second marriage to Anna of Saxony . On October 11, 1472, at the age of 8, Barbara was married in Berlin to Henry XI Glogowski , who was 30 years older than her. Four years later, Henry died, the couple did not have children.
In the same year, Barbara married a second time to Czech king Vladislav II . The wedding by proxy took place in Frankfurt , Vladislav hoped to get the Principality of Glogow through this marriage. However, this did not work, and Vladislav, having lost interest in marriage, began to build new plans for marriage.
On April 25, 1492, Barbara released Vladislav from all obligations regarding marriage and wrote to Rome asking for a divorce. Vladislav, feeling free, married Beatrice of Aragon (widow of the Hungarian king Matthias Hunyadi ), and Barbara wanted to marry a certain Konrad von Heideck. However, the Barbara brothers, not wanting to allow this marriage, took her to Plassenburg , where she spent many years in prison.
In 1493, the pope appointed a commission to investigate the circumstances of the second marriage of Vladislav. On April 7, 1500, Pope Alexander VI declared the marriage of Vladislav and Beatrice illegal.
She was buried in the Heilsbronn monastery near Ansbach .
