Belkuchi ( Beng. েবলকিুচ , English. Belkuchi ) - a city in the north of Bangladesh , the administrative center of the eponymous district . The area of the city is 5.75 km². According to the 2001 census, 11,230 people lived in the city, of which 53.23% were men and 46.77% were women. The population density was 1953 people. on 1 km². The literacy rate was 37.6% (compared to Bangladeshan average of 43.1%).
