Geography
It borders on the urban settlements of Volokolamsk and Sychevo ; Kashinsky , Spassky and Teryaevsky rural settlements; Novopetrovsky rural settlement of Istra district ; Volkovsky rural settlement of the Ruzsky district [3] . The area of the rural settlement is 209.8 km² [3] .
History
Established January 1, 2006.
On May 24, 2019, all urban and rural settlements of the Volokolamsk municipal district were abolished and merged into a new single municipal entity - the Volokolamsk city district [4] [5] .
