Adamdighi ( Beng. আদমদিঘী , English Adamdighi ) - a city in the north of Bangladesh , the administrative center of the eponymous sub-district . The area of the city is 4.17 km². According to the 2001 census, 5,404 people lived in the city, of which 54.57% were men and 45.43% were women, respectively. The population density was 1296 people. on 1 km². The literacy rate of the population was 43.7% (compared to Bangladeshan average of 43.1%).
