Career
Kim Lusin has been “spinning” in the world of figure skating since birth, as his parents, Claudine and Didier Lucin , run the figure skating club in Annecy . Under the guidance of his parents, Kim began to skate and continues to train with them throughout his sports career.
Kim originally represented France . He became the champion of France among the “newcomers” three times in a row, and in 2007 he became the champion of France among juniors. In addition, Lyusin three times represented the country at the World Junior Championships and its highest place there was 11th in 2008 . However, Kim did not succeed in breaking into the adult national team of France, where at that time there was strong competition ( Brian Joubert , Yannick Poncero , Samuel Contesti , Florent Amodio , Alban Preober ). He was closest to the goal in 2007, when he took 4th place in the national championship .
Then Kim Lucin decided to represent Monaco in the international arena. He was forced to serve a two-year quarantine (according to the rules of the ISU ) and made his debut under the Monegasque flag in the 2010/2011 season. At the Ondrei Nepel Memorial, Lucin won a silver medal. In the same season, Kim for the first time took part in the European Championships (17th place, and in qualification he was second) and the world (23rd place).
At the end of 2013 at a tournament in Germany, he fought for the right to compete in the Figure Skating at the 2014 Winter Olympics - single skating (men) , but he lacked luck and sporting happiness [ what? ] .
