Sripur or Sripur ( Beng. শ্রীপুর , Eng. Sreepur ) is a city in the west of Bangladesh , the administrative center of the eponymous district . The area of the city is 3.11 km². According to the 2001 census, 4152 people lived in the city, of which 51.13% were men, 48.87% were women, respectively. The population density was 1335 people. on 1 km². The literacy rate was 42.4% (compared to Bangladeshan average of 43.1%).
