Arno Mohr ( German: Arno Mohr ; July 29, 1910 , Poznan - May 23, 2001 , Berlin ) is a German artist and graphic artist.

Biography
Arno Mor begins his art education in Poznan, as a student of window-dresser, in 1924-1927.
In 1929-1930, Mor studied in evening classes at the School of Applied Arts, in 1933 he continued his studies at the State School of Fine and Applied Arts in Charlottenburg .
After World War II, the artist taught for about 30 years in 1946-1975 at the Higher School of Fine and Applied Arts in the Weissense district of Berlin.
In 1949, Moore met with renowned artists and graphic artists Otto Dix and Alfred Erhardt , with whom he subsequently actively collaborated.
His sketches from Berlin life, as well as his portraits ( Bertold Brecht (1971) and actress Helena Weigel ) stand out in the creative heritage of Arno Mora. He was a participant in numerous art exhibitions both in the GDR and abroad.
In 1961, Arno Mor became the winner of the Kete Kolwitz Prize.
In 1962 and in 1985 he was awarded the Goethe Prize of the city of Berlin.
In 1970, he was elected a member of the Academy of Arts of the GDR.
In 1974, Mohr became chairman of the Union of Artists of Berlin.
Since 1993 - Member of the Berlin-Brandenburg Academy of Arts.
