En-Nabatiya [1] [2] ( Arabic: النبطية ) is a southern Lebanese city with a population of about 120 thousand people. The city is the management of the eponymous district and the eponymous governorate .

Nabatiya is the most important city of Jabal-Amel (the historical name of southern Lebanon until the creation of modern Lebanon in 1920).
