Biography
Carl Julius Bernhard Burner was born in Bremen on May 28, 1880 .
He studied biology in Marburg ( Hesse ).
Since 1903, Burner has been an assistant at the Imperial Biological Institute in Berlin .
Since 1907, as the head of the vineyard , he devoted himself to research in biology and the fight against grape phylloxera , and continued to grow material resistant to it even after the vineyard was transferred to Naumburg .
Karl Burner died in Naumburg on June 14, 1953 [4] .
