Rabguzi (pseudonym; real name Nasr ad-din, son of Burkhan ad-din) is a Turkic writer and poet from Khorezm of the late XIII - early XIV centuries.

Biography
Rabguzi was born in Khorezm in the area of Rabati Oguz (hence his pseudonym - Rabguzi). In addition to his native Turkic, Rabguzi knew Arabic and Persian well . He was a cadmium (judge).
Creativity
The main work of Rabguzi “Tales of Rabguz about the Prophets” (“Kissai Rabguzi”, 1309-10) came to us not in an autograph, but in manuscripts of the XV — XVI centuries. The language of the work is close to the Khorezm-Turkic . The work consists of 72 religious tales, mainly from the Bible and the Koran . Stories include inserts from poems. Some stories are borrowed from historical chronicles, in particular from the Tabari History. The stories are didactic in nature, they preach virtue and condemn vices.
Rabguzi was also the author of lyric poems.
