Old Polona is a village in the Gordeevsky district of the Bryansk region , as part of the Rudnevorobyevsky rural settlement . Located 8 km west of Gordeevka . The population is 192 people ( 2010 ).

The village has a post office, a rural library.
History
It was founded in the middle of the 18th century by F. Koretsky; later transferred to Zhurakovsky (did not have a Cossack population). Until 1781, it was part of the New Town Hundred Starodubsky Regiment ; from 1782 to 1921 in the Surazh district (from 1861 - as part of the Unoshevsky volost ); in 1921 - 1929 in Klintsovsky district (Unoshevskaya, from 1924 Gordeevskaya volost ).
Since 1929, in the Gordeevsky district , and during its temporary disbandment - in the Klintsovsky ( 1963 - 1966 ), Krasnogorsk ( 1967 - 1985 ) district.
Until 2005, it was the center of the Staropolonsky Village Council.
