As part of the national team of Lithuania, Dariusz was a participant in the World and European Championships, as well as the Olympic Games.

The twin brother Dariusz Krzysztof Lavrynovych is also a professional basketball player, who currently also plays for the Lithuanian club Litkabelis . Dariush is married, has two children. He is fluent in Lithuanian, Russian and Polish, speaks good English.
