Biography
Born September 19, 1958 in the village. Barmysh of the Gudauta region of the Abkhaz ASSR in an Abkhaz family with Turkish roots [2] .
Higher legal education. From 1978 to 1991, he worked in various positions in the Ministry of Internal Affairs system, and from 1989 to 1992, in the leadership of the security service of the highest authorities, one of the closest associates and security chief of the first President of Abkhazia Vladislav Ardzinba .
From 1992 to 1993, during the Georgian-Abkhaz war, he was the representative of the President of Abkhazia in the North Caucasus. He was engaged in the formation and sending of volunteers of the North Caucasus to the territory of Abkhazia, the sending of humanitarian supplies, food, medicine . From 1993 to 1996 - head of the security service of higher authorities.
From 1996 to 2003 - Minister of Internal Affairs of Abkhazia . In 1996, he created the first special forces in Abkhazia SOBR.
From April 2003 to 2004 - Secretary of the Security Council of Abkhazia .
Since 2005, after the election of Sergey Bagapsh as President of Abkhazia, he was in opposition to the current government.
In 2012, in the parliamentary elections he ran for the People’s Assembly of Abkhazia in the eighth constituency, but did not get enough votes.
On April 17, 2012, he shot himself in his own apartment in Gagra while trying to arrest him as a suspect in organizing an assassination attempt on President of the Republic Alexander Ankvab [3] [4] [5] .
In May 2012, the Security Council of Abkhazia reported that defendants in a criminal case on the preparation of terrorist attacks in Sochi , planned for the pre-Olympic period in 2012-2014, were associated with Kchach [6] . During the special operation, three leaders of the Abkhaz branch of the terrorist organization " Emirate of the Caucasus " [7] [8] were arrested.
