Daulatpur ( Beng. দৌলতপুর , English Daulatpur ) is a city in the central part of Bangladesh , the administrative center of the eponymous district . The area of the city is 4.13 km². According to the 2001 census, 5325 people lived in the city, of which 51.19% were men, and 48.81% were women, respectively. The literacy rate was 32.8% (compared to Bangladeshan average of 43.1%).
