Institute of Service and Entrepreneurship DGTU

In 1969, in the Shakhty, on the basis of a small pedagogical institute, the Shakhty Technological Institute of Consumer Services (SHTIBO) was formed. Next year, more than 1000 students enter STEBO. In 1992, graduate school was opened at the institute. In 1993, the Institute opened its first branch in Volgodonsk ( Volgodonsk Institute of Service ). In 1995, the institute was reorganized into the Don State Academy of Service (DGAS). In the same year, the newly minted academy opens a technological college ( Higher College of Economics and Service ) and a student training and production House of Service. In 1997, DGAS opened a professional lyceum of economics and service. With the support of the Academy, a testing center for school graduates of the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation, as well as a student design studio "Podium" and a model agency are organized ^[1] .

In 1998, the Academy opened its branch in Rostov-on-Don ( RTIST YURGUES ) and Pyatigorsk ( KMVIS ). On the basis of the academy, the Southern regional branch of the UMO of Russian universities for education in the field of service is opened ^[1] .

In 1999, the Don State Academy of Service was reorganized into the South Russian State University of Economics and Service. A branch is opened at the university in Stavropol ( Stavropol Technological Institute of Service ). In the same year, a museum of the history of the South Ural State University of Economics, the Student House of Models, a linguistic training center, and the Physics and Mathematics School for Gifted Children were founded at SUSUES ^[1] . In 2004, SURGUES, together with 6 innovative scientific and technical enterprises, established the InTech-Don Innovation and Technology Center, a non-profit partnership, which is an innovation infrastructure object well-known in the Southern Federal District and North-Caucasian Federal District. In 2005, the University received a certificate of the international organization Global Assurance Limited ( Great Britain ), which confirms the conformity of the quality of education to the requirements of the ISO 9001-2001 standard ^[2] . In 2006, the university received a diploma from the European Business Assembly and received the European Quality Award in Oxford (United Kingdom) ^[2] . In 2008, SUSUES was recognized as a high-quality educational institution with international experience by the IES Certification Company ( London ) ^{[1] [2].} Now, graduates of SUSUES simultaneously with a diploma receive an IES certificate in English for 12 educational programs. In June 2009, SUSUES and its structural divisions successfully passed state accreditation for all educational programs. On the basis of the university, one of the first in the Russian Federation educational-scientific-innovative complex of multilevel education was created, which corresponds to the main directions of modernization of education. In 2009, the university on an associate basis entered the National Scientific and Educational Innovation and Technology Consortium of Service Universities - a multi-level network university. The University is one of the leaders in Russia and the Southern Federal District in the development and implementation of education quality management systems. University QMS is certified by GAL (London). In 2010, YURGUES became the Laureate of the All-Russian Competition of Rosobrnadzor for achieving significant results in the field of quality training of graduates and entered the top five universities in the country. In 2010, SURGUES became the laureate of the All-Russian competition "University of Healthy Lifestyle." In 2013, the only independent university in the city of Shakhty was closed. It was reorganized by joining DSTU in the city of Shakhty in the Institute of Service and Entrepreneurship (branch).
