About the field
The field was discovered in 1994 as a result of testing Kalinov’s carbonate deposits in well No. 2. The well was laid on the structure prepared by seismic exploration, within which intensive oil development was recorded in exploratory well 1, previously drilled and liquidated for technical reasons. The structure is a brachianticlinal uplift, the northern slope of which is partially cut off by pinching out the Kalinov carbonate deposits. With two tectonic disturbances, longitudinal in the arched part and transverse in the western part, the structure is divided into three blocks. Productivity is established within the southern block, whose semi-closed uplift is shielded by longitudinal and partially transverse disturbances. [one]
Oil has a density of 879 kg / m 3 with a content of fractions boiling up to 200 о С about 40%, up to 300 о С - about 70%. Oil contains (% wt.): Asphaltenes - 0.02, sulfur - 0.47-0.73, mercaptans - 0.05. Oil-dissolved gas contains (mol%): methane −55.0, ethane −10.0, propane −3.8, butanes –1.9, nitrogen –19.7, carbon dioxide –7.0, hydrogen sulfide –1 , 85. The field is in exploration. Reserves amount to 20 million tons of oil . [one]
