Tarail ( Beng. তারাইল , English Tarail ) - a city in the east of Bangladesh , the administrative center of the eponymous district . The area of the city is 2.70 km². According to the 2001 census, 7487 people lived in the city, of which 52.32% were men, 47.68% were women. The population density was 2773 people. on 1 km². The literacy rate was 35.5% (compared to Bangladeshan average of 43.1%).
