Nayba ( Yakut. Nyaiba ; also Khara-Ulakh ) is the village , center and the only settlement in the rural settlement of Khara-Ulakhsky national litter in the Bulunsky ulus of Yakutia .

Content
Geography
The village is located beyond the Arctic Circle , on the coast of the Khara-Ulakh Bay in the Laptev Sea , at the mouth of the Nyayba River. It is located 165 km southeast of the village of Tiksi , the administrative center of Bulunsky ulus [2] [3] .
Population
In 2010, 522 people lived in the village (in 2002 - 500 people) [4] .

History
1927 - Election of the Council. 1928 - The first two-year elementary school was opened in the Kuobakh area. 1929 - The first Union of farm laborers was created. 1930 - Partnership "Kyhyl Tүgeһiir" was organized. Open hut - reading room "Sugulaan". 1936 - A first-aid post was opened. 1940 - The collective farm named after Voroshilov. 1952 - A hospital was opened. 1953 - Radio connected. 1955 - A power plant was built. 1961 - The Primorsky state farm was established. 1971 - The state farm was transformed into a collective farm. 1978 - An automatic telephone exchange was introduced. Introduced Orbit station. 1981 - 8 year old school converted to secondary.
Economics and Culture
The basis of the economy is reindeer herding , fishing and hunting [13] .
In the village there are two boiler houses , automatic telephone exchange . Electricity is provided by a diesel power station of the Bulunsky branch of Sakhaenergo OJSC [13] . There is also a secondary school, workshop of the school, Municipal preschool educational institution "Kindergarten of combined type" Tugutchaan ", cultural center" Maranga ", district hospital [3] .
