Biography
Vsevolod Vasilievich Chubenko was born on December 8, 1964 in Saratov. While studying at the Saratov school number 19 from 1972 to 1980, he took an active part in amateur art and studied for one year in the theater studio of the Palace of Pioneers . After graduating from the Saratov Theater School. I. A. Slonova worked in Rostov-on-Don .
In 1984, the actor was invited to work in the Vologda Regional Theater for Young Spectators . Among the roles played in the Vologda Youth Theater: Marat in the play “My Poor Marat”, Edmund in “King Lear”, Menshikov in “Peter I”, Jose in “Carmen”.
In 1991, he graduated in absentia from the State Institute of Theater Arts (RATI-GITIS) (acting department).
In 1999, Vsevolod Vasilievich became one of the creators in the Vologda Chamber Drama Theater , which he moved to work in 2001 [1] . In an interview, Vsevolod Chubenko admits:
“The break with the Youth Theater was very painful. I really did not want to leave the theater in conflict, where there are very good people, where are friends. But the feeling of freedom and independence was fundamental for me. ”
On December 27, 2004, by the Decree of the President of the Russian Federation N 1611 for merits in the field of culture and art, many years of creative activity, Vsevolod Chubenko was awarded the title of Honored Artist of Russia .
In 2009, Vsevolod Chubenko created his own Theater in Vologda, in which the audience is offered theater performances and small-scale musical performances. Among them: the solo performance “Kysya” based on the work of Vladimir Kunin , “Dark Alleys” based on the story of Ivan Bunin , “Emigrants” based on the play of the same name by Slavomir Mrozhek , the play-joke “Quarrel” on the Gogol story “ How Ivan Ivanovich quarreled with Ivan Nikiforovich ,” The Taming ”based on the play of W. Shakespeare .
In 2009, he completed his studies at the Vologda branch of the North-West Academy of Public Administration (Department of State and Municipal Administration).
In 2010, he was elected 1st Deputy Chairman of the Board of the Vologda branch of the Union of Theater Workers of Russia .
On February 8, 2012 he was appointed head of the Department of Culture and the Protection of Cultural Heritage Sites of the Vologda Region [2] .
