Olympic Games
At the Summer Olympics, Tadej Valyavets made his debut in 2000 in Sydney . In the group road race, the Slovenian cyclist was unable to get to the finish line.
After 4 years at the games in Athens, Valyavec showed 26 results at a similar distance, 12 seconds behind the Italian winner Paolo Bettini .
At the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing in the group race took 34th place behind Samuel Sanchez, the champion of the Spaniard, by almost 3 minutes.
Professional career
The first major success of the young Slovenian was the victory in the Giro d'Italia in the age category U-23. Disqualification
