Rumyantsev, Vyacheslav Borisovich

Vyacheslav Borisovich Rumyantsev (born October 20, 1957 , Leningrad , USSR ) is a Russian historian [1] , journalist , publicist, and figure of Runet . Known as the founder and editor-in-chief of the portal “ CHRONOS: World History on the Internet ” [2] .

Activities

In 1984 he graduated from the History Department of Moscow State University named after M.V. Lomonosov .

He taught history and social studies at school and college.

In 2000, he launched the project "CHRONOS: World History on the Internet" - a historical resource of Runet [2] .

In addition to the historical basis of the portal, he organized the literary part - “Russian Field” (the community of literary projects). A prominent place in this field is occupied by the Russian literary magazine “MOLOKO” (Young Eye), headed by its own editor-in-chief and having its own team of authors.

Rewards

  • In 2011, Rumyantsev was awarded a special diploma of the Literary Forum "Golden Knight" in Tula (for historical objectivity) [3] .
