Biological Description- The hat is 0.5-4 cm in diameter, in young mushrooms, conical or bell-shaped, then opens to convex and flattened, with a recess in the center, hygrophanic , with a shiny, sometimes finely scaly surface in the center, painted in pinkish-brown or red-brown tones, in wet weather with a lined edge, brightens when dried.
- The flesh is pale, sometimes almost white, with a bluish or brownish tint, with a faint, unpleasant, powdery smell and taste.
- The plateau hymenophore , the plates are rare or quite frequent, adhering to the pedicle or with denticles descending on it, pale, with age they first turn gray, then acquire a dark pink hue. The edge of the plates is sometimes darker.
- Leg 1.5–7 cm long and 0.1–0.3 cm thick, flat, sometimes quite noticeably thickened at the base, smooth or slightly fibrous along its entire length, gray-blue in color, sometimes with a metallic tint, with some age copies fading to brown. The ring is missing.
- Spore powder is light pink. Spores 8-11 × 6-9 microns, 5-8-angled. Basidia are usually four-spore, with buckles, 25–43 × 7–14 microns. Cystides are absent. The cuticle of the cap - cutis or trichodermis , consists of cylindrical or fusiform hyphae up to 20 microns thick.
The toxic properties of Entoloma incarnatofuscescens have not been studied.
Habitat and EcologyEntoloma incarnatofuscescens is widespread in Northern and Western Europe , is quite common. It grows on land in deciduous forests, gardens and parks.
Related SpeciesEntoloma incarnatofuscescens is included in the subgenus Omphaliopsis of the genus Entoloma . In addition to her, this species also includes European species Entoloma amygdalinum Noordel. 1987 , Entoloma brunneostanneum Courtec. 1993 and Entoloma parkensis ( Fr. ) Noordel. 1979 .
