Kapasia ( Beng. কাপাসিয়া , Eng. Kapasia ) - a city in the central part of Bangladesh , the administrative center of the eponymous district . The area of the city is 1.74 km². According to the 2001 census, 4,292 people lived in the city, of which 52.8% were men and 47.2% were women. The population density was 2467 people. on 1 km². The literacy rate was 59.5% (compared to Bangladeshan average of 43.1%).
