Dhamray ( Beng. ধামরাই , Eng. Dhamrai ) - a city in central Bangladesh , the administrative center of the same sub-district . The area of the city is 5.84 km². According to the 2001 census, 22,394 people lived in the city, of which men made up 53.34%, women - respectively 46.66%. The population density was 3835 people. on 1 km ². The literacy rate of the population was 59.3% (with an average of 43.1% in Bangladesh). Every year the city hosts the Hindu festival Ratha Yatra .
