History

Mentioned from the XVIII century (also called Kholmovaya Sloboda, Kholmovka ); originally included in the Bryansk district . From 1776 to 1929 in the Roslavl district of the Smolensk province (from 1861 - as part of the Sergius volost , from 1922 in Epishevskaya , from 1924 in Seshchensky volost ).
