Huang Ida ( Chinese trad. 黃 義 達 , ex. 黄 义 达 , pinyin : Huang Yìdá ) is a Singaporean singer and composer. He graduated from Lee Wei Song music school in Singapore.

Juan (which means “yellow, gold”) is a surname, and Ida (where 义 yì is “virtue, righteousness”; 达 dá is “express, convey”) is a name.
When Ida collaborated with Sony Taiwan, his name was spelled with two capital letters YiDa and played the role of his logo, in fact, the correct spelling with one capital letter Yida.
Together with Sony, Taiwan, Huang Ida, released 4 major albums, and in 2005, his song Chou nan ren / Jerk / 臭 男人 became the main theme for the Taiwanese TV series Devil beside you / 惡魔 在 身邊. His other song “Set Me Free” in the same 2005 became the soundtrack to the Chinese version of the film “Stealth” (Stealth).
His long-awaited "Dedicated to Himself" (寫给 自己 的 歌) was officially released on November 28, 2008.
In November 2010, Juan Ida became part of the Ovation Family. In an interview, Juan Ida said: “I was very excited when I found out that I was joining the Ovation Family. Ovation produce the best guitars in the world. Many world-famous musicians, such as Beyong in Hong Kong, performed as representatives of Ovation. Music and guitar are the main components of my whole life, I am completely in love with them ” [1] .
7 years after his last album, Juan Ida releases the pre-album “Dim Light” (微光 wēiguāng). This album was in collaboration with Ida and the Chinese record company 北京 橙 天 华 音 音乐 制作 有限公司 (Běijīng chéng Tiānhuá yīn yīnyuè zhìzuò Yǒuxiàngōngsī), with which Huang Ida works after the end of the contract with Sony Taiwan. The album consists of 5 tracks, one of which is instrumental, was used by the designer Marie to display her new collection You.kai.
Along with the release of the pre-album 微光, the film was released together with the same record company. The main role was played by Ida himself and the Chinese actress Tan Yan (born in 1983). The film tells about a young man suffering from memory loss who every time falls in love with the same girl.
