It has the appearance of a small flattened muscle, which is located lateral to the muscle that diverts the little finger , covered with a short palmar muscle and skin from above. It starts from the hook of the hook- shaped bone , the retainer of the flexors and, moving distally, attaches to the palmar surface of the proximal phalanx of the little finger [1] .
