Belaichhari ( Beng. বিলাইছড়ি , English. Belaichhari ) is a city in southeast Bangladesh , the administrative center of the eponymous subregion . The area of the city is 10.36 km². According to the 2001 census, 1841 people lived in the city, of which 59.09% were men and 40.91% women respectively. The population density was 178 people. on 1 km². The literacy rate of the population was 45.9% (compared to Bangladeshan average of 43.1%).
