Throughout the 70s, Anne Wilson dated Michael Fisher, the band’s manager, while her younger sister, Nancy, met lead guitarist Roger Fisher , Michael’s younger brother. When Anne was a child, she suffered from obesity, as a result of which she was ridiculed by other children. In the 1970s, she firmly decided to lose weight and achieved a result. However, after the Heart reunion as an AOP group, Ann again gained significant weight. Fearing that this could spoil the image of the group, the record company and members of the group began to force it to lose weight. In the video clips, camera angles and clothes were chosen in such a way as to visually reduce her volume, as well as cameras focused more on her sister Nancy. Ann has repeatedly stated that she began to suffer from panic attacks caused by stress from negative reviews and focusing on her overweight. [9] In January 2002, she underwent a surgical operation known as bandaging the stomach [10] after a “lifelong struggle” with her weight.
