Nyukasayama Observatory ( 入 笠 山 光学 観 測 所 Nu: kasa-yama ko: gaku kansokujo ) is a Japanese astronomical observatory founded in 1990 and located on the Nyukasa-yama mountain near the city of Ina and the village of Fujimi in Nagano Prefecture . The observatory is owned by the Japan Space Agency (Institute of Aerospace Technology and Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency). Alternative observatory names: Mount Nyukasa Station, Mt. Nyukasa Astronomical Observatory or Nyukasayama Observatory.
