An acting career began in childhood from filming numerous commercials. In 1977, she made her film debut with the role of the heroine’s daughter, Marsha Mason, in Herbert Ross ’s romantic comedy “ Goodbye, Dear, ” which earned her the nominations for the best supporting actress for the Oscar and Golden Globe . In the future, Quinn Cummings starred exclusively on television, performing small roles in the TV series "Starsky and Hutch", " Family ", " Remington Steele " and several others. For the second and last time on the big screen, the actress appeared in the 1989 drama “Listen to me”, and in 1991 she stopped filming.
She currently resides in the Los Angeles city of Los Feliz with her daughter Katharina (born 2000) and her boyfriend .
