Senbagh ( Beng. সেনবাগ , English Senbagh ) is a city in the southeast of Bangladesh , the administrative center of the sub-district of the same name . The area of the city is 15.7 km². According to the 2001 census, 23,530 people lived in the city, of which 49.34% were men and 50.66% were women, respectively. The population density was 1499 people. on 1 km². The literacy rate was 49.3% (compared with Bangladeshan average of 43.1%).
