The flag of the intracity municipality, municipal district No. 75 in the Frunzensky district of the city of St. Petersburg of the Russian Federation is an identification mark serving as the official symbol of the municipality and a sign of unity of its population.

The flag was approved on November 27, 2007 [1] and entered in the State Heraldic Register of the Russian Federation with assignment of registration number 3998.
Description
“The flag of the municipality municipal district No. 75 is a rectangular panel with the ratio of the width of the flag to the length - 2: 3, reproducing the composition of the coat of arms of the municipality of the municipal district No. 75 in blue, white and yellow.”
The heraldic description of the coat of arms reads: “ In a azure (blue, blue) field there are two silver lowered torches burning with a golden flame, crossed, accompanied by a silver cover on the top that extends from the sides, raised and assembled over a silver four-spoke wheel ”.
Symbols
The flag was compiled on the basis of the coat of arms of the municipality Municipal District No. 75, in accordance with the traditions and rules of vexillology and reflects historical, cultural, socio-economic, national and other local traditions.
On the territory of the district near the Obukhovo railway station there is a cemetery “In memory of the victims of January 9th” , founded in 1872. Then the St. Petersburg City Administration arranged at the 10th verst the Preobrazhenskoye cemetery and a platform at the siding of the Alexander Peninsula. In 1877, train traffic increased significantly and the half-station was moved closer to the cemetery. A passenger building was constructed here, built according to the type of stations of III and IV classes and two passenger platforms. Until 1925, the station was called Preobrazhenskoe.
In 1881, executed Narodovoltsy secretly buried in the cemetery, who organized the assassination attempt against Alexander II , in 1901, the dead participants in the Obukhov defense, and in 1905 there were mass graves of the victims of “ Bloody Sunday ”. On the flag of the municipality, municipal district No. 75, two silver torches burning with a golden flame serve as a symbol of this.
The silver wheel on the one hand symbolizes the Obukhovo railway station, the emergence of which served to further develop the territory, and on the other hand the important highways Kupchino — Bucharest and Sofia streets — passing through the territory of the municipality now.
Burning torches are a symbol of progress, light, knowledge.
The blue color of the cloth symbolizes a series of ponds in the northern part of the okrug (near the modern Internationalist park), which remind of the channel of the Volkovka river flowing here (its other name is the Black River) that arose here in 1970-1980 after the laying of the artificial channel of the Volkovka river.
Yellow color ( gold ) - supremacy, greatness, glory, intellect, constancy, justice, virtue, fidelity, respect, magnificence.
White color ( silver ) - purity of thoughts, truthfulness, innocence, nobleness, frankness, integrity, hope.
Blue color (light blue ) is a symbol of beauty, love, peace, lofty aspirations, honesty, fidelity, and impeccability.
