Squirrel (obsolete. Levadnaya [1] ) is a river in Ukraine , in the Radomyshl district of the Zhytomyr region . The right tributary of the Teterev ( Dnieper basin). The length of the river is 40 [1] km, the basin area is 354 [1] km².

The valley is trapezoidal, up to 2 km wide and 20 m deep. The channel is slightly sinuous, 5 m wide, partially canalized in the upper and middle reaches. The river slope is 1 m / km [1] .
Squirrel originates southeast of the village of Kocherova [2] . It flows through the following villages: Zabeloche , Negrebovka , Taborishche , Belka , Khomovka and Krymok [2] .
The river first flows to the northwest, then turns to the north-east and near the village of Belki again turns to the north-west. It falls into Teterev northwest of the village of Krymok [2] .
Comparatively large ponds are located along the river, among which there are a reservoir near the villages of Khomovka and Krymok. However, the largest pond is considered a body of water with a length of 8.9 km, which stretches along the Teterev.
The river represents an important place in the development and management of the economy. Numerous species of fish live in it, the surroundings (especially in the lower reaches, where significant forests) are inhabited by a variety of animals .
