History

At the opening of the station, it was called “Maxlahti” ( Fin. Makslahti, proper name Maks has no translation, lahti - bay) - along the bay, on the shore of which it was. Nearby - a little closer to Vyborg - was the Römpötti stop ( Fin. Römpötti), which, in fact, was a remote area of the Makslahti station [2] . The number of lateral paths was at least five (two of them are dead ends), plus one main one. There was also a system of berths (some of which have been preserved to this day) and access roads to them - for loading and unloading arriving ships directly onto railway cars. After the Great Patriotic War, this system of access roads was not restored.

Station “Römpetti” [3] at the end of the 1940s was originally called “Lesnaya Dacha”, but was soon renamed “Tikhonovo” in memory of the regimental commissar Tikhonov, who died in the ranks of the militia in the battles for Leningrad. Later, he again changed his name to “Pribylovo” in memory of Lieutenant A. Pribylov A., [4] who died in the territory of the Villalsky Village Council "(Pribylovo). This was probably done in connection with the abolition of the Villalsky Village Council, twice renamed by the collective farmers of the collective farm" Winner ”, first to Priboysky, then to Pribylovsky Village Council.
