Biography
Born in a tailor's family. Member of the 1905 revolution . Member of the Bund [1] . Since 1908 - a member of the Bolshevik party .
Was in exile in Irkutsk, in 1917 a member of the Irkutsk Council of Workers 'and Soldiers' Deputies, the provincial commissioner of labor. In 1918 he was arrested by Kolchakites, imprisoned in Tomsk, Irkutsk, was released in 1919, in the same year he was elected a member of the Irkutsk Provincial Committee of the RCP (b)
In the early 1920s, the chairman of the Executive Committee of the Irkutsk City Council of Workers' and Red Army Deputies (08.24.1920 - 01.31.1921) [2] , was the editor of the newspaper Vlast Truda . The delegate of the X and XI congresses of the RCP (b) , a participant in the suppression of the Kronstadt rebellion .
Chairman of the Board of the Press Union, member of the board of the People’s Commissariat of Labor of the RSFSR, member of the Supreme Court of the USSR, member of the Board of Trade of the RSFSR, Chairman (until 1935) of the Society of Political Prisoners and Exiled Settlers [3] .
Repressed in 1938. Rehabilitated in 1954 and restored to the party.
