Biography
In 1917 he graduated from the Physics and Mathematics Department of Moscow University . In 1917-1918 - actor of the Nikolsky Theater. Since 1918 - actor of the Soviet City Theater ( Irkutsk ). In the years 1921-1922. - Artistic director of the newly organized Irkutsk Theater.
In 1922 he entered GITIS on the course of V. E. Meyerhold [1] . In the years 1922-1932. - Laboratory assistant at the Vs. Meyerhold . Since 1932 - at the Realistic Theater . In 1934-1937 - at the Central Theater of the Red Army , at the same time staged performances at the LOSPS Theater and the Moscow Youth Theater (Lawyer Patlen, Sailor and Schoolboy, etc.). In 1937-1941 staged performances at the Moscow Theater for Children , at the Central Theater of Transport . In 1941-1945 - in the Novosibirsk Youth Theater . In 1946-1957 - The main director of the Moscow Youth Theater. In the early 1960s, staged performances in Lipetsk , Pskov , Gorky .
