It arose at the beginning of the 20th century ; until 1924 it was part of the Salynsky volost of the Bryansk district , later in the Dubrovsky volost , Dubrovsky district (since 1929 ). Since the 1920s Until 2005, it was a member of the Mareevsky Village Council.
