History of the founding of the company Christian Rufli-Fluri - the founder of the company, was a hereditary watchmaker. In 1884, he opened a small company, his wife Eva-Maria persuaded to do this, who was fascinated by her pocket watch donated by her husband. In 1900, the image of the glass hourglass, chosen as a symbol of the timeless spirit of the company, was used as the Edox logo.
