Criticism
Ryan Paul of Ars Technica criticized:
If you do not take into account the game, then the idea of an application store in a web browser, the main task of which is to install ordinary bookmarks on sites, leaves a very contradictory impression
In January 2014, the media exposed a trend of extension developers to sell to third parties (companies) the right to install certain malicious programs such as adware in their Chrome extensions. [7] Then Google took action and removed identified malicious programs from the online store. [8] But, in fact, by 2018, the same problems remained the same - [9] [10]
