Sitakunda ( Beng. সীতাকুণ্ড , Eng. Sitakunda ) is a city in southeast Bangladesh , the administrative center of the eponymous subregion . The area of the city is 28.63 km². According to the 2001 census, 34,530 people lived in the city, of which 50.50% were men and 49.50% were women, respectively. The population density was 1206 people. on 1 km².
