Orienteering World Cup

Orienteering World Cup - a series of competitions held under the auspices of the International Orienteering Federation to identify the strongest orienteering athletes. There are three separate tests - running, skiing, cycling.

  • Orienteering World Cup (cross-discipline) - held since 1986; initially every two years, since 2004 - annually; [one]
  • Orienteering World Cup (skiing disciplines) - held since 1989; [2]
  • Orienteering World Cup (cycling disciplines) - the first draw of the cup was held in 1999, from 2004 to 2009 it was not played, from 2010 it is held annually; [3]
  • Orienteering World Cup (Trail Orienteering) (Trail-O) was held in 1999 and 2003. [four]
