History
The village of Nashchekino was founded by serfs of the landowners Sergei Gagarin and Nikolai Nashchekin on the eve of the second revision of 1745. The census book says: “The village of The Theologian Sergei Gagarin, courtyards and peasants who, according to the previous revision tale of 1719, were in the village of Zaitsevo: Fedor Ermolaev, Nikifor Grigoryev, Maxim and Mikhail Fedoseyev, Nikita Semiletov ...”. Nikolay Nashchekin simultaneously settled free theological lands with his serfs, resettled from different places. In total, there were 385 souls in Theology. [2]
Nowadays, the village is divided into Verkhnyaya Nashchekino and Nizhnyaya Nashchekino, which are located on different banks of the Bolshoi Lomovis River.
