"Civil defense. Tribute ” and “ Civil Defense. Tribute. Part 2 ” - released by the Mystery of Sound label in 2002 and 2003, respectively, tribute albums to the Russian rock band Civil Defense (1984-2008). The cover shows the leader of the group, the author of most of the songs, Egor Letov in the image of Che Guevara from the most famous photograph .
Albums include covers for the songs of Civil Defense and the associated project Yegor and the Twinkled Ones , as well as for one song of the project Communism - New Year's Toast. At the same time, the song "Red Laughter" was a cover already performed by "Civil Defense" - to the group " Instructions for Survival ." The author of all songs is Egor Letov ; except “In every house” - Yegor Letov and Yanka Diaghilev , “Red Laughter” - Roman Neumoev .
Tributes in general were perceived by music critics rather negatively.
