He was dismissed from the army in shame (probably for the murder committed in the state of passion ) and was supposed to go into exile in Upper Hungary, where he stayed in the German administrative enclave of Schütrisberg-Chemnitz (now Banks- Banska Stjavnitsa ). Here, with the help of the German Lutheran church, he continued to receive his allowance . He entered into an uneven marriage, so his descendants were expelled from the genealogy of the Hessian house. He died from the consequences of a robbery and was buried in Schutriesberg. His son Georg Hes (1780-1856) devoted himself to the mechanization of manual labor in silver mining in the region.
The Hesse-Darmstadt House bought and destroyed all the documents about George Karl (about his marriage and descendants). In the genealogy of the history of European states, Marburg 1953 Volume I Table 104, it is listed as unmarried and without descendants.
