Banaripara ( Beng. বানারিপাড়া , Eng. Banaripara ) is a city and municipality in southern Bangladesh , the administrative center of the eponymous sub-district . The area of the city is 4.77 km². According to the 2001 census, 9206 people lived in the city, of which 53.63% were men, 46.37% were women. The population density was 1930 people. on 1 km². The literacy rate was 65.56% (compared to Bangladeshan average of 43.1%).
