Biography
Born in the city of Polotsk, Belarusian SSR . He graduated from high school number 9 of the city of Polotsk.
He graduated from the Faculty of Journalism of Belarusian State University (1981), graduate school - at the Yanka Kupala Institute of Literature of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus (1983).
From 1984 to 1997, he was a researcher at the Yanka Kupala Institute of Literature of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus .
Since 1997 - Head of the Department of Belarusian Language and Literature, Minsk State Linguistic University [3] .
