Shawn Johnson ( Eng. Shawn Johnson , pronounced / shɔːn 'dʒɔnsən / ; January 19, 1992 ) [2] - American gymnast , Olympic champion in exercises on the balance beam and silver medalist in the absolute championship, floor exercises and team competitions in gymnastics 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing , the absolute world champion in 2007, the absolute champion of the USA in 2007 and 2008. Also, in 2009, she won the eighth season of the American television show Dancing with the Stars ( Eng. Dancing with the Stars (US TV series) ).

Personal life
Sean is the only child of Doug and Teri Johnson. Born in Des Moines , Iowa . Parents recorded her gymnastics at the age of three years, noticing how she climbs on the cabinets and jumps from the tables. At the age of six, she became one of the first students of Liang Qiao ( Eng. Liang Chow )), who opened a gymnastics school in West Des Moines [3] .
Throughout 2008, Johnson maintained a more balanced lifestyle than is typical for elite gymnasts [4] . She limited herself to 25 hours a week of gymnastic training instead of the usual 40 hours [5] . In addition, unlike many of her rivals, she studied at a free public school [6] . Sean was an excellent student, went to football games and extra classes [7] .
During the spring semester of the 2008–2009 school year, Sean left public school and moved to Los Angeles , California with her mother to participate in the show “Dancing with the Stars” ( English Dancing with the Stars (US TV series) ). As of 2010, graduated from school with a tutor [8] [9] .
Since April 16, 2016, Sean has been married to football player Andrew East [10] . On October 21, 2017, Johnson-East admitted that they had recently lost their future first-born just 2 days after the news of the pregnancy [11] . April 4, 2019 it became known that she was pregnant again [12] .
