By the definition of the Governing Senate of March 11, 1874, Major Osip or Joseph Semenovich Zashuk (1794-1874), according to his personal merits, was approved in hereditary noble dignity, with the right to introduce the second part of the noble genealogy book, along with his children, sons: captain Nikolai , staff captains: Joseph and Leonid , lieutenant Konstantin and daughters Julia and Anna .

Emblem Description
In the azure shield, a hand in gold armor holds up a silver sword with a golden hilt. The arm at the elbow is pierced with a silver arrow, point down.
Above the shield, a noble helmet with a crown. Crest: three ostrich feathers: middle - azure, right - gold, left - silver. Bait : on the right - azure with gold, on the left - azure with silver. The coat of arms of Zaschuk is included in Part 13 of the General Herbarium of the noble families of the All-Russian Empire, p. 75.
